My posts are few and far between, I understand. But every once in a while I find both the will and the time to take a photo. I framed this one with my fingers — in that very lame way that photographers do — while washing the dishes in my basement apartment.
I’ve been living in this place for quite nearly a perfect year now, and despite the lackluster view from its windows, it is rather nice when looking in. Of course, when that “near” perfect year arrives, I’ll be moving out to who-knows-where.
I’ve been accepted into York University’s “Design” program and, after having only driven there two or three times now, have concluded that making that trip on a daily basis would drive me bat-shit crazy. The ironic bit of it is that I’ll probably wind up living in the heart of Toronto somewhere, potentially with a roommate. Ironic because that scenario is almost as likely to explode my easily-agitated head as the other, as I’m clearly not the most social of creatures.
In any case, things are going to change for me. Hella change. Though, if you’ve been tuned in to this place for a while, you’ll remember how I handled the last “epic change” in my life. If I’ll miss what I’ve got now, who’s to say I won’t eventually miss what I’ll soon have then?
Enjoy the photo. I’m off to house-hunt.
